Papa's Pizza Equity is named for the disgraced Papa John Shattner who not only lost the official pizza of the NFL title, but also lost the controlling stake in his company after misconduct during a conference call.
Papa's Franchise was hit hard by two very strong draft picks in season five which ended up not working in his favor. David Johnson ended up being saddled by a terrible Arizona Cardinals offense and O-line around him, while Leonard Fournette was struck with a hamstring injury which kept him sidelined throughout the season. Only through some smart waiver pickups was Papa able to make a run at the final four. However, he fell short losing his last two games by very small margins.
This franchise has yet to make it to the final four.
