Deus Ex MachinBOT

FLP Former Franchise

Deus Ex MachinBOT is named after the Latin phrase Deus Ex Machina which translates to "God from the Machine". This franchise's strategy was to let the autodraft (the robot) take the reigns to pick his entire lineup (except for the first round draft pick). He was commonly seen posting gifs of robots terrorizing cities as his way of talking smack and hyping up the chat.

Past team names - Cunt Nuggets (FLP Season 2, 2015)
                             - TheDonut (FLP Season 1, 2014)

The origin of this team's name has to do with the controversy surrounding the domestic violence cases which plague the NFL and its reputation. What is the NFL doing?

The Lovely Wife Beater's Franchise has made it to the final four in all 3 seasons it has participated in.

Alpaca Squad Alpha

FLP Veteran (Joined FLP Season 1)
FLP Season 1 Champion

Alpacas are a South American mammal that look very similar to llamas. They must be the franchise owner's favorite animal.

This franchise was once the king of the autodraft, which allowed them to win the first ever season of FLP and Kannan despite having a losing record of 7-8 entering the playoffs. Since then, this franchise has not returned to the playoffs. However, they have been really good at being a spoiler and making questionable trades. His team has a lot of potential to return to the throne in the future. Until then he sits patiently allowing the others to get comfortable.

Favorite NFL Team: Seattle Seahawks
Favorite NFL Players: Cam Newton

The Alpaca Squad Alpha made Cam Newton his first pick in the FLP Season 5 Draft.

Jay's Reality Stars

FLP Newcomer (Joined FLP Season 5)

Jay's Reality Stars is named after former Chicago Bear's Quarterback Jay Cutler. Jay Cutler's wife is the star of a reality TV show in which he makes several (hilarious) cameo appearances in.

Jay's Reality Star started with the #1 draft pick of the 5th FLP season. Choosing Le'Veon Bell with the first overall pick of the FLP Season 5 draft, this would later turn out to be the biggest bust of the season due to Le'Veon Bell's sit out. Jay's Franchise was further hit heavily by midseason trading among the NFL teams during season V. The day after dropping Nick Chubb from his roster, Jacksonville announced that they had traded to receive Carlos Hyde from Cleveland, making Chubb the defacto RB1 for their team. Luckily for him, Amari Cooper was traded from Oakland to Dallas, where he put up huge numbers as a Cowboy to help Jays accumulate massive points. Overall misfortune lead to the downfall of his season. Welcome to the FLP league Jay's Reality Stars!

Jays has shown his disapproval of the other franchise offering his terrible deals and insults their pathetic attempts to barter.

Derp Jenkins

FLP Veteran
FLP Season 2 Runner Up
FLP Season 4 Runner Up

Not too much is known about the origin of the name of the Derp Jenkins Franchise. However, their team photo really creeps me out now that I've seen it up close and not in avatar size. The Derp Jenkins Franchise was expected to do extremely well from the initial Yahoo! draft grade, expecting to finish second with an 11-3 record. However, this was proven a massive flop during the season.

The Derp Franchise has reached the final four in 3 of 5 seasons, FLP Season 5 being the second time she has missed the final four.
